A Written Message from the Candidate

Friends,

I’m grateful for the opportunity to run for a seat on the CU*Answers Board.

When I wrapped up my term as an Associate Director, I left the boardroom more energized than when I entered, because I saw what’s possible when a room full of credit union leaders stop competing and start building things together.

That’s really what I’m about. I like finding problems no one’s solved yet and asking, “What if we just… fixed it?” That curiosity (or impatience, depending on who you ask) is what led my team to launch projects that others are now using or adapting. But the part that matters most to me is that none of those ideas were hoarded. We built them to be shared.

I’m running for a full seat because I care about how this cooperative works, and how it could work even better. I believe the board should be a sounding board, a launch pad, and, when necessary, a nudge to do the next brave thing. If elected, I’ll bring the same energy I’ve brought to every committee, every conversation, and every project: push boundaries, share what works, and never forget that we’re all on the same team.

If we haven’t met yet, here’s what I can promise: I’ll take the work seriously, but not myself. I’ll ask better questions than I give answers. And if you ever want to swap ideas over a drink, I’m buying the first round.

Thanks for your support; let’s build what’s next.
